Evading Tenancy in Residential Hotels (Musical Rooming)

Under this law, the hotel operator cannot require an occupant of a hotel room to move or to check out and re register before the expiration of thirty (30) day occupancy period if a purpose of the move is to circumvent the law and deny the occupant tenant status, as defined in Section 50519 of the Health & Safety Code.
